Unknown part for camera when the phone came from Apple and has not been repaired

Have any of you had trouble with your camera and get the error message “unknown part” when the phone has never been worked on?

IPhone 12 Max Pro Unknown Part Camara not genuine So I just experienced the unknown part error, and my 0.5x camera is not working anymore all of a sudden. I reached out to tech support, who ran a diagnostic on my device, which revealed the Camera was not being detected. I've never done any work on this phone in the past. After doing quick research, this seems to be a common issue with the iPhone 12 Max pro. Is there a way to repair this issue without having to the out of warranty fees?

Has anyone received the message “camera unknown part” when the phone was purchased from Apple and has never been repaired? Has anyone received the message “camera unknown part” after upgrading to iOS 16, even though the phone was purchased from Apple and has never needed or have repaired and the camera functions perfectly?

Many seem to have normal defects report that error
