iPhone battery life

Let’s say I am going to sleep and my iPhone has >95% charge. I have the possibility to plug the charger. Should I do it so that the battery is not being used overnight or should I leave it unplugged?

With modern batteries should we plug them anytime we can?

Leaving Apple devices plugged in all day will not harm them nor their batteries.

Hello gianmarco273!

You can plug them in at night even if the battery is almost 100%. Go to: Settings>Battery>Battery Health & Charging, and make sure Optimized Battery Charging is turned ON. This way, to reduce battery aging, iPhone learns from your daily charging routine so it can wait to finish charging past 80% until you need to use it.

I hope this is helpful. Good Luck!
