Text replacement in calendar, please add this!

I have a use list of text replacements, for example I use @@ and have that replaced with my email address.

In my calendar, I often use an emoji as the first character of the description. For a phone call a 📞 for example, and for lunch/dinner 🍽. For the 🍽, I have the text replacement 🍽,to be able to add it quickly. Works like a charm on my iPhone.

On my Mac however, replacement is not implemented in the description/subject field of the calendar. In the notes field in calendar it works fine.

I read that this can be set when in the Edit menu, Replacement is available. In many apps it is, but not in Calendar. Why??!?

My workaround is press ⌘ + Space, type ioi, wait until it its replaced by 🍽, press ⌘ + A, ⌘ + X, ESC and finally ⌘ + V. Please Apple, fix this for me and all others who like a consistent behavior.
