Can you add a user-defined symptom to the Health App? (This has been asked before but not answered...)

It is not possible to create a category with symptoms that are not in the list. The solution may be to take a category that comes closest and use it, or find a 3rd party symptom app in the App Store that can handle the users' own symptoms.


Each category in the Health app is tied to science - and that science must be in the Health app's database. If users create their own symptoms, the Health app will lose the power to provide important info about that specific symptom, and you may not get the info you want in the end.


You can also find 3rd party apps that can synchronize with the Heath app in the Health app:
