As the author pointed out, the application crashes. There is no need to complete a force-quit. The one and only solution being offered (removing, then re-adding email accounts) does not resolve the issue, as the author also pointed out. When is a repair update coming from Apple? This issue is not isolated to just a few systems.

Hello Nilvin,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you.

Thanks for letting us know what actions you've tried so far. Any chance you've tried quitting the Mail app or even deleting it? This can help determine if the issue is with the app software or related to the accounts linked to the Mail app. If you haven't done this yet, we've included articles for each option. To get you started, steps for quitting the app are provided below.

How to force an app to quit on your Mac - Apple Support

Uninstall apps on your Mac - Apple Support

Force an app to quit

Press these three keys together: Option (or Alt), Command, Esc (Escape).1 Or choose Force Quit from the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen.

How to force quit on Mac: Press Option-Command-Esc

A Force Quit window opens. Select the app that you want to quit, then click Force Quit:

Force Quit Applications window

The Finder is always open, but if it stops responding, you can force it to quit and then open again: Select Finder in the Force Quit window, then click Relaunch.

Best regards.
