Hello i bought an iphone 4s second hand from a flea market(means I CAN T CONTACT THE OWNER) and seems like i can t delete the previous owner data because i need some type of passowrds and **** and idk what to say i really hate this im trying to unlock and restore this for hours because i will take it to work so i don t have to use my main phone i need help asap

Activation lock on second hand iPhone purchase. What now? I purchased an iPhone 11 Pro from OfferUp and when I went to pick it up everything was fine. When I got home to set it up it was activation locked. I tried contacting the individual I purchased the phone from but cannot get a hold of them any longer. What do I do?

The phone you purchased is “Activation Locked” by the prior owner.

Until that owner releases the lock, the phone will never be more than a paperweight to you.

This behavior is by INTENTIONAL DESIGN.
