Probably the biggest “danger” with ChatGPT and similar is that you believe that the generated text is true without verifying it.

To quote the ChatGPT vendor: ChatGPT “sometimes writes plausible-sounding but incorrect or nonsensical answers".

That’s a very charitable interpretation of the generated output.

There are undoubtedly scam ChatGPT and other AI apps around, as with anything as massively hyped as this fiction-generating tool has been. What’s in the app store should be fine.

I have been using a shortcut that allows SIRI to populate the response from ChatGPT it's really good but I am wondering what about the data? I mean it didn't ask for a Chat GPT login and I don't know where the chat history goes!

Siri probably won’t collect that past the Apple privacy statements, but—in the absence of statements to the contrary—OpenAI seems exceedingly likely to add your interactions with their services into their corpus.
