Sierra to Ventura
I have a new Studio, Ventura 13.1 and my late 2013 iMac 27, Sierra 10.12.6, about 4 feet apart.
Is there any way to transfer files to each other? USB cable or wireless?

Apple says nope.
The following older iMac models can be used as an external display when plugged into another older Mac model.
iMac models introduced in 2011, 2012, 2013, and mid 2014
To use any of these iMac models as an external display:
24-inch and 27-inch iMac models introduced in 2009 and 2010

THANKS.
If you have another second, and I realize this is off topic.
Is it possible to connect a new M1 iMac 24, to an older, (Intel) iMac 27 Retina display, and use the 27 as a second monitor, in target display mode?
Thanks, I tried that, but obviously not hard enough.
No cable solution?
Cable solution?
File Sharing can work over Ethernet for one thing.
Thanks.
You're welcvome my friend, post back if you need more help setting it up.
I think I have succeeded. Bold new worlds. While the 2 computers are in file sharing mode,
will that slow down either computer?
Turn off file sharing when not using?
Thanks.
I don't think it's going to slow down either computer much, except of course a bit when files are actually being exchanged, but then may not even be noticeable. :)
Thanks.
OK, take care my friend. :)
