Name showing up next to my email, particularly with replies?

When I send emails, my name shows up correctly next to my @mac.com email address. However often when I reply to a message, my husband's name show up next to my same @mac.com email address. How do I fix this? I've made sure my contact card with my name is marked as 'My Card' in contacts, and I've looked throughout settings on iCloud and on my computer - nowhere can I find his name listed (he has a separate Apple ID with a @gmail.com address). This is driving me crazy trying to find the cause and solution.

We'd like to provide you with a few steps that may be able to help resolve this issue you're having with your husband's name appearing, when trying to reply to an email:

"Many of us have more than one email address that friends and family use to reach us. You can add additional Reachable At email addresses that you commonly use to your Apple ID account, so people can easily find and communicate with you on Apple services like FaceTime, Messages, Shared Albums, and Find My, and collaborate with Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

Delete an additional email address

Sign in to appleid.apple.com.
Select Personal Information, then select Reachable At.
To delete one of your additional email addresses, click the Remove button next to the address."
