ECG tracks heart sinus rhythms. The message after you take a reading will tell you if your heart is beating in a uniform pattern. That is how it can detect AFib. Are you seeing something else? The issue was I that i was only able to access the info screen. It was not going to the heart screen. After a long session with apple support. We did a cold boot on my watch. That seems to have corrected the issue.
