Cracked display on MacBook 16" M1

Hello everyone

I bought a new macbook about a month and a half ago. And now a week ago I noticed that there are small cracks on the bottom. (I'm attaching a photo below) I have absolutely no idea how these cracks could have happened, I didn't even use the macbook most of the time and just lay there. I have it as a workstation on the go.

If anyone has encountered this, or dealt with something similar, I would appreciate your feedback.

But I guess the only solution right now is to pay for the $1400 repair.
