my ipod touch is disabled and telling me to connect to itunes, ive tried the usual fixes, but itunes is not recognising the ipod. Im happy to lose the data. ive updated my itunes and am working with windows 10

my ipod touch is disabled. I dont mind losing the data on it...Ive tried the usual fixes and got the message "connect to itunes" however when I connected to itunes it didnt see my device and so i could do nothing........is there anything else I can do?
