Is It Ok To NOT use CleanMyMac X?

im a new MacBook owner and I'm very sensitive about my device either slowing down or potentially getting malware. due to ALOT and I mean ALOT of people saying that cleanmymac x is either "necessary" or "a need to have app" I was like, let me try it out. at first. I thought that it was an all free app but with a lot of things these days, I was wrong. now im here to ask if it IS actually necessary to have cleanmymac x or is it just a hoax. and if not having it means that my Mac will slow down by ALOT or at all anyway. thank you.

sincerely

Amir.

Neither of those happen on a Mac, by accident.

You could feasibly install malware on a Mac if you really try, but it certainly won't get there unless you cause it to happen.

I've been running some version of macOS for over 30 years and it has never slowed down or somehow became "unclean."

Over Kill perhaps but better to know before hand - keep the aka " BrickMyMac " as far way from your machine as possible

Any Third Party Applications that will interfere with the normal operation of the OS,  is an invitation for disaster and comprise the Operating System

Certain Applications maybe available on the Apple Apps Store - this only means the Developer is prepared to pay Apple a portion on each sale. What the Application may do to the computer is up to the User to check this out before purchase

Any of the below should be removed as per Developers Instructions

This will include CleanMyMac
