bought fire tv stick 4K cannot log into apple tv keep getting error message called apple they were no help

cannot log into apple tv with new fire tv stick 4K. have updated the fire stick, restarted fire stick, restarted tv. called apple they were no help they blame it on amazon

has anyone else had this issue? always get an error message that starts with 63E and then the next 5 digits of the error message change each time I know the user name and password are being typed correctly
