Hello antonioefa2004,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your AirPods firmware is not updated. We are happy to help.

Did you follow the steps on the article that brought you to us? If not, we recommend the steps there. Do you use your AirPods with an Apple device or Android device? If they are being used with an Android device, we recommend borrowing an iPhone, iPad, or Mac to update your AirPods firmware.

Please use the steps here to see if you can update your AirPods firmware:

1. Please connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi.

2. Make sure that your AirPods are within Bluetooth range of your iPhone.

3. Place your AirPods in your ears, please listen to any audio content for at least 30 seconds.

4. After 30 seconds, place your AirPods back in the case. Charge your AirPods for 30 minutes. Please make sure that your AirPods case is close the entire 30 minutes, so that it doesn’t interrupt the firmware update.

5. After 30 minutes, reconnect them to your iPhone and check the firmware version to ensure it has updated.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Take care.
