Convert Lotus amipro file to mac word

HI guys,

I have old lotus amipro files that I would like to convert to mac word. Is there a conversion kit available or is there any other programs I can use to convert amipro files? Any information would be helpful.

Do you still have a working copy of AmiPro? If so, the best way to convert your docs would be to open them in AmiPro and Save As > RTF (rich text) format.

There used to be an AmiPro converter in the MS Office Converter Pack (up to Office 2003), but it was pulled because the code was old and there were security holes. It was called Convpack.exe. You may be able to find it somewhere if you search the web (but note it is a Windows only pack).

Thanks for your reply, I do have an old copy of Amipro but no way to load it on PC as I only have Mac now. Any suggestions??

You can use KOffice for the Mac. http://userbase.kde.org/KOffice/FileFormats/KOffice_1.6_FileFormats says it can import AmiPro files.
