Passcode after factory reset

I have a new iPad Air so I factory reset my 1st Gen iPad Pro. I intend to sell it. It has been reset but is asking for a 6 digit pin. I tried 123456 and 000000. Neither worked. What do I do?

Simply performing a reset is insufficient to prepare an iPad for disposal to a new user. You need to follow this procedure to properly erase the iPad - and remove the Activation Lock that will otherwise cause issues:
