I am trouble viewing my iphoto library i moved from old 2009 imac desktop.
How do i convert the old iphoto library i have on a flash drive so that i can put the pictures in my modern photo library.
I keep getting “The library “Iphoto Library” could not br recognized

Great to hear so far, now in Photos>File>Import, point it to Originals, there you'll have a choice keep Folder order & review which or all you want to import. :)

How would I put all the contents of the "original" folder into photos app? Just drag the folder "Originals"
to my Photos app in the dock? When i open the folder it has all the various years as separate folders.

Thanks for the help!!!!! I am in the process of consolidating desktop, laptop, with a new laptop that will have everything. Hopefully the new machine's photo duplicate tool works because I know this will be an issue.
