C++ on Visual Studio on Mac mini pro M2

I have new Mac mini pro with M2 architecture so I want to use the visual studio to be able to work on C++ codes but when I started to download I found only it suggest .NET and no option of C++ as the videos show for the case of windows.

My question is ; Visual studio not supported to install the language with the required compiler on M2?

btw I know how to use vs code instead but I wanted to use Visual Studio

Visual Studio for Mac is only designed as a cross platform development system between Windows, macOS, and iOS and is based on a modified .NET framework with a "translator" for macOS and iOS GUI.

If I may ask, what is your purpose for C++ development? Developing apps for both Apple and Windows platforms? Developing specifically for Apple? Some other purpose?
