MacBook pro fingerprint ID not working when charging- solved

Solved- all works fine if I use the official Apple charger that came with the MacBook. The issue materialised when I started using my wall socket built-in USBC output. No doubt something is superimposed on the DC that messes up the fingerprint reader.

Fingerprint recognition not working My fingerprint Touch ID has been EXTREMELY temperamental ever since I bought my current MacBook Pro. On my previous MacBook it worked perfectlyly. One difference I have noted is that the material used on the sensor has changed (more of a matt rather than a gloss finish) and I wonder if this is a factor in the unreliability that I am experiencing. I have tried all of the usual fixes - don't move your finger, clean both surfaces, reinstall the finger prints etc. but nothing seems to help. It is very irritating to say the least. Does anybody ave any other thoughts as you how this might be fixed - at the moment it is only working about 10% or less of the time. What is so annoying is that occasionally it does work!

Upgrade Macbook Air M2 to Ventura 13.2 - fingerprint reader very slow or not working After upgrading my MacBook Air M2 yesterday to Ventura 13.2, my fingerprint reader is sometime very very slow to react or don't work. Had restart, did delete the finger prints, took my a long time to reset up. Still sticky, Any solution to fix?
