My iPhone 12mini will not turn on or charge. There was no event, it was not dropped on the floor or in water. I got up in the morning, picked in up off the wireless charger and it would not turn on. What can I try?

Remove any debris from the charging port on the bottom of your device. Restart your iPhone or iPod touch. Try a different USB cable or charger. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.

The “Forced Restart” worked! But NOT until I did it several times in a row. I hadn’t tried that. When I did it, the phone indicated that it was 100% charged. Is it possible to over charge these phones?
