My surface pro7 uses the Windows11 Photos app associated with One Drive to access, view and edit my photos on iCloud.
If I delete photos from the One drive photos app, will the photos end up deleted from iCloud?

In order for your iCloud Photos to be deleted, you would have to delete them from your Apple device that is connected with your iCloud account. If you delete photos from One Drive, they won't be deleted from iCloud. I have an iphone 12 Pro Max with both icloud photos app and Google photos app installed. I only want to keep the icloud app.
How do I ensure that when I delete the Google photos app, nothing gets deleted from my icloud account?
Thanks for the additional information, ThistleBe. While this shouldn't happen, when deleting your third party photos application, we'd recommend reaching out to Google Support as this application is made by them.
