I don’t know why you keep deleting my request. Why does the 14 talk to text not function properly? It is a downgrade from the 11 Pro I came from. Restarting does not help. You have to know there is a problem. Is that why you keep deleting my questions?

To enter text, tap the microphone button on your keyboard, then start speaking. As you speak, the text appears on the screen. To finish, stop speaking, then tap the keyboard button . If dictation isn't sure what word it heard, you'll see a blue line under the transcribed word so you can check it for accuracy.
Yes, I am familiar with how it works. I upgraded from an 11 Pro. What I am finding with this new version is that while I am speaking, the software decides to place random periods and commas between words. It also decides to stop listening, and although the microphone is showing as engaged, the screen is blank with no words being typed although I am speaking. I can keep speaking the word, and it is as if I am not speaking. I turn off the microphone and back on, and it still is not thorough. It just times out after awhile it seems. It is nothing like the last version, and it is extremely frustrating. I noticed from an online search that I am not the only person experiencing this problem so I am curious if anyone has discovered a solution.
