Airpod Pro 2 Generation Connection Issue

Dear Apple Support

There are a lot of complaints about the connection Issue with the Airpods Pro 2 generation. The specific detail of the issue is when using my airpods (listening to music), phone rings, I answer but nothing. Volume is up, sound output set to airpods, i confirm that airpods are connected but no sound. Mic not working too. Also it happens when listening to music as well, It just gets disconnected it self and when we try to connect it back it won't connect back and we have to wait for it to connect back it self. I am a Airpod Pro 2 generation user my self and I am experiencing this issue too.

Hello Jack_1218,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are having issues with your AirPods Pro. I you haven't already, please reset your AirPods with these steps and then test your issues again:

  1. "Put your AirPods in their charging case and close the lid.
  2. Wait 30 seconds.
  3. Open the lid of your charging case, and put your AirPods in your ears.
  4. Go to Settings > Bluetooth. Or go to Settings > [your AirPods].
    • If your AirPods appear there as connected, tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.
    • If your AirPods don't appear there, continue to the next step.
  1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and keep the lid open.
  2. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then white.*
  3. AirPods charging cases

  4. Reconnect your AirPods: With your AirPods in their charging case and the lid open, place your AirPods close to your iPhone or iPad. Follow the steps on your device's screen."

And those steps are from How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support

Cheers!
