My phone is not showing battery percentage and is off and on a times

If your iPhone with FaceID and it is updated to iOS 16, then you can activate Battery Percentage so that it appears in the battery in the status bar. This also applies if you have an iPhone with TouchID.
Go to: Settings > Battery > turn on Battery Percentage.
iPhone with FaceID on earlier versions than iOS 16, the battery percentage can be seen in the Control Center.
