iPhone battery

My iPhone 13 battery was charged to 90% before I went to sleep, so I unplugged it from from charging (because it usually lasts the entire night), but this morning my phone was DEAD - like 0% charged.

i charged it and checked the battery health which is still saying it’s at 99% battery health. Would love to know if anyone else has experienced this.

Connect the phone to at the adapter at the end of he evening and leave it connected all night.....every night. That is the single best thing that you can do to preserve the life of the battery......with a bonus that you start each day with phone at 100%.

Ignore that old advice with other types of batteries that would have you charge the phone when it gets to 20% and never charge above 80%.
