Connecting a disabled iPhone to a Wi-Fi network

Good day you all.

Some days ago my iPhone xr fell and I picked it up I saw that the touch screen has started touching and typing on it's own. So I decided to shut it down and then turn it on again but after booting up the phone started typing wrong pass codes on it's own so I angry like locked the screen and kept it in my drawer. Then later when I tried to check it to see if its stable, I was that the photo has been disabled that I should connect to itunes.

Now I've managed to erase it via find my phone but it says phone will only be wiped after I haven't connected it to a Wi-Fi network. Now my question is how can I connect my disabled iPhone to a Wi-Fi network? Please guys hello me.

iPhone XR, iOS 14

Hello,

It appears you may have a disabled mobile device or forgotten device passcode. Refer to this support article for various methods that you can use to resolve this. Which one you can use depends upon your equipment configuration. --> If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support

If you can use the newer method and it isn't connecting to WiFi on its own you will have to use a computer.
