Am I able to buy just the European adapter? The travel kit has adapters for countries I don’t plan on travelling to. I live in North America.

Many stores sell single plug adapters. You do not need a complete kit unless you plan on traveling extensively. Note that even within Europe the plug styles can vary so make sure you have all the correct kinds. In that case you may find buying an entire kit is cheaper and just leave the ones you do not need at home.
