I can get a few dufferent normal opening screens but my cursor wont move from the upper left corner and my keys wont type in my passcode. Whats up w my macbook air?

SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
if no resolve you make it sound like both the trackpad and keyboard have failed— this would be hardware.
The trackpad/keyboard cable are one in the same— so maybe it is cable only. Certainly known to fail on some Macs esp the MBP 2015
