Unable to verify server identity on my email account

Although I can receive and e-mails with no problem I keep receiving "Cannot Verify Server Identity. The identity of m.hotmail.com cannot be verified". I've never used hotmail so don't know where this is coming from. I have rebooted my phone, deleted and re-added my e-mail account, reset network settings, assured that I am at the current IOS release level (16.3.1). None of these attempts have eliminated this message.

I am hoping for a solution that will solve this problem.

Thanks for reaching out Verify_Server_Identity_Issue,

It sounds like the Mail app is attempting to connect to a mail server you're not familiar with. We can help.

IF you're seeing this message, it definitely means that your device is attempting to access hotmail but is unable to provide the correct credentials. It will continue to try, and display the message, until it is removed.

You can follow these steps to Add and remove email accounts on iPhone to remove the account.

Give that a try and see if there is any improvement.

Take care.
