Apple pencil glitching

I am having the problem raised in the thread below:

The solutions there aren't working. The best suggestion is that the ipad has static electricity and needs to be grounded, but I'm not using a case and I usually touch the rim. The problem causes random lines to appear either close to the pen, or leaping all over the screen.

Is there a good solution yet? The above thread is old. I'm using notability app.

Apple Pencil glitch My Apple Pencil (1st gen) has stopped working with my iPad (10th gen). I have had the pencil about three months and it worked perfectly until about 2 months in. The pencil started glitching when I tried to write in Goodnotes. It also doesn’t work on other apps that I was using it on. I have a paper screen protector on the iPad the whole time I have had the pencil. I changed the tips and even bought covers for them after the glitching started to happen but no change.

apple pencil not working in parts of screen Hi, my apple pencil gen 2 is not working in a big part of my ipad pro 11”. it only happens with the pencil, my finger works fine on the screen, I have tried resetting my ipad, and it happens in all apps in the same area, if I press super hard in the area it will sometimes work but that’s it. is their anything I can do about this?
