Trouble logging in to Apple Music for Windows

I am running into an issue where I cannot log in to the Apple Music for Windows application from the Microsoft Store. When I open the app, I go to sign in, and after I type my Apple ID and password, then click sign in, nothing happens. The window disappears, but I am still not logged in. I can go back, type the same credentials, and nothing happens again. I've tried restarting the application and my computer, but nothing. Has anyone ran into a similar problem or know a solution? Thanks!

Windows, Windows 10

Hi formanachee,

According to Apple Music under the "Apple Music plays on all your devices." section the PC option is to "Update to the latest version of iTunes" with a link that directs to iTunes.

The "Apple Music" app in the Microsoft Store appears to be for Xbox per Apple Music.

If you have a different version of the software, it does not appear to be officially released or supported at this time.

If you are using iTunes and unable to access Apple Music, first verify the subscription works via another channel including the Apple Music site and then contact Apple Support to investigate further.

Regards.
