Final Cut Pro Export Issue (14-inch MacBook Pro M2 Max)

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a 14-inch MacBook Pro M2 Max and downloaded final cut pro on this new mac for my editing projects.

The current project I am doing includes a lot of black screens between words and images, and when I watched the exported video - it was really weird. It looks like every single word / image appeared in a very quick fade-in transition (I don't really know how to describe it).

I am 100% sure I did not add in transition between any of these images / words / clips, and there was no problem when I watched the playback in the project itself. It only became weird when I watched the exported video. BUT! When I tried to move frame-by-frame in the exported video, it had no problem either (i.e., in frame 1 there is no word, in frame 2 the word appears - which is how it should be) - but then when I played the video - the "quick fade in problem" is still there.

I am really confused. Not sure it's a compressor export setting problem, or a render problem, or the new mac's setting problem? Anyone have any ideas?

How are you playing back the exported video? Going frame by frame suggests it is correct but maybe there is a playback issue. Did you try playing back in different applications or devices? Same problem?

Would it be possible to share a snippet of video that exhibits the problem? You could export a small section to youtube as unlisted and post rhe link here. Also test that youtube export playing back in your mac -same issue?
