trying to reset my PayPal password it is sending the verification to my former landline, it is an Old phone number and not even showing on my new phone?

Not sure what to do since you cannot turn off the two factor verification

Payment method verification code sent to wrong number It has been a long while since the last time I made a purchase with my iPad. I now need to "verify" my payment method. I went to settings-my name-payment & shipping, from there It says to enter code sent to (My Land line number), like I wrote, it's been a while. I then went to my apple account and changed my number as well on my iPad. Paypal verification My APPLE ID payment method (Paypal) has worked multiple times in the past couple of weeks. Now all of a sudden it’s telling me I have to verify it and I don’t know how to do that. There is no option, no help whatsoever. Can someone tell me how?
