Tax Exemption for iCloud

Hi there,

I work for a tax exempt institution and have used iCloud as my data storage throughout my Mac ecosystem. However, I was told by my institution that I need to have the tax removed from my iCloud subscription in order to continue using it. I have sent my tax exempt certificate, and Apple has offered a rebate, but I need the tax taken off in advance.

Again, you will have to speak with Apple, or be very, very, very patient and hope that somebody happens by who has experience with that. The people on this forum are just other Apple products users like yourself. THe best I can find is:

Payment, Financing, Refunds and VAT - Shopping Help - Apple

Tax-exempt orders

To place an order on behalf of a tax-exempt organization or individual, please call an Apple Store Specialist at 1‑800‑MY‑APPLE.

You will need to provide proof of state tax-exempt status for the state

where the product is being shipped. The organization or individual name

on the order must exactly match the state tax-exempt certificate.

Federal tax exemption certificates are not applicable.

Note that that is for the Apple Store, not apps, etc., but maybe they can direct you.
