Why does the Apple Clips app now require iOS 16?

Why does the Apple Clips app now require iOS 16?

This app has been available for download for about two years, but now it's requiring iOS 16 to download it from the App Store. Anyone know why? I can't imagine there being any new features that demands the latest operating system.

Hey bentStable, Clips 3.1.3 and later do require iOS 16. You may be able to install the last version of Clips, compatible with iOS 15 or earlier, if you try to download the app and look for a message asking if you want to "download an older version of this app". Hope that helps.
