Can I download a movie onto my iPad and watch it without Wi-Fi on a cruise?

Movies Anywhere offline download I downloaded movies using the download offline from Movies Anywhere which is connected to my Apple TV app. Instructions said to do this if I wanted to watch movies on a flight because I wouldn’t have access to the app. It shows it downloaded but it is not showing in my files download folder. I’m assuming it only downloaded to the app. How do I get it downloaded to my actual iPad to watch without an internet connection in airplane mode?

Watching downloaded films on iPad Going on a flight soon and would like to know how to watch downloaded films, last time I could watch a bought film but not the rented one, when researched upon returning and learnt that you should start the film to play while connected to Wi-Fi then it would be ready to watch in your library, I did this but could still not not watch as they were not in my library with not being connected to Wi-F, I am now at a loss of what I need to do?

This might work, if the app you use to play the content does not check your credentials via Wi-Fi when starting the app.

You can try this at home, downloading the movie and disabling Wi-Fi after that.
