Battery replacement from Pakistan

Hi, i want to replace iphone 12 battery from pakistan. On your website “istore” from pakistan is your authorised reseller. I contacted them and they said, policy for pakistan is that apple will replace your iphone not just battery. They will courier your PTA approved phone to apple and they will send back replacement, which will take almost 3 weeks. Is it true?
