Logitech circle view cameras recording All Motion instead of just Select Motion

I have a problem with my Logitech Circle View Cameras in HomeKit. I have cameras set to record specific motion but for some reason it decides to record all motion and notify me about it. In addition it records motion outside the selected activity zone. This happens on my door camera and also my other Logitech Circle View Cameras. I have power cycled my HomePod and the Cameras and have factory reset some of the cameras. The software is up to date. Any idea to fix this problem ?

Hello wayne.d,

This page can help provide assistance for setting up the security cameras to double-check on their configuration: Set up security cameras in Home on iPhone - Apple Support

As factory resetting the accessory hadn't helped, be sure to also try checking for any available updates for all involved devices with the Home app.

If the issue still persists, you may try following up with Apple Support via this link here to help investigate it further: Apple Support

Eric, thanks for your reply. I have a Circle View Door Camera and 4 Circle View Cameras. My HomeKit hub is a HomePod mini (2nd Gen). I have deleted and added back cameras and HomePod. Also have rebooted, power cycled, factory reset, verified all updated software (including HomePod). All cameras, recording and notifications, are set to "Specific Motion is Detected" only. I get the Specific Motion (people, animal, packages) alerts but I also get "Detected Motion" with the diamond icon with any other motion. On one Logitech thread I saw where this may be an issue of having 4-5 cameras but did not see a fix on that thread. At times (after taking the previous reset actions) it seems like the problem is gone, but then it comes back and stays. Wayne
