We understand you aren't able to log out of Find My on your iPad and received an error. If you've already tried resetting your password at our Apple ID website, and that still won't let you sign out on your iPad, the next step would be to contact our support teams directly.

That was my next call until I read a helpful suggestion...and performed the whole operation online in my iCloud account. I don't know why I didn't think of that since that where my iPad and iPhone BackUps are? I was attempting the procedure from my "Music" app on my iMac and my iPad.
