Convert a pdf to a image with command Line on Ventura

Has anyone found a solution for the issue: I'm also running in to the same on 13.3.

You don't need to go thru the Terminal to convert a PDF to jpegs for each page. Just create an app with Automator as shown below:

Have a folder called "Untitled" or water you'll like on the Desktop and drag the PDF file onto the app to get the jpeg files in the folder.

I can take a one-page PDF and output a jpeg from it without using your ./__ filename prefix and it works correctly. There is no debug output with or without the trailing filename. The sips man page does not indicate that the debug argument takes an output filename for that result, as it does for those switches that do.

Oh, so you're creating a FM app to do whatever and convert a PDF. Wish I could help more. I use FM 16 but for personal and more simple endeavors, i.e. track medical expenses and other deductible expenses. I've used it since the late 80s. But it's priced way out of my league now and when FMP 16 is no longer supported by macOS I'll have to go back to paper and pencil. 🤮
