Apple Watch Ultra 2 very dim in dark areas I purchased the Apple Watch Ultra to the first week of October just downloaded the new 17 point one update hoping that it would solve the dimming issue when you head into a dark area so dim it’s so hard to read text messages or even the time. Hope Apple is aware of this and is coming out with an update that will solve the problem, or give us the option to make the Watch brighter at night

How do I get my Apple Watch to stay bright all the time? I never liked the idea of seeing a blank black screen on my wrist but then saw there was now the ‘Always On’ function YAY! So I bought the series 6. BUT why then does it dim a bit when not directly facing me ☹️? I wanted it to be fully on, whatever brightness I chose, so that for example whenever I’m sat down and it catches my eye I see the nice bright pretty screen and not a grim dark thing on my arm 🤦‍♀️. Any way of stopping it dimming at any time? Many thanks

My Face display changes on sleep focus I received an Apple Watch series 8 for Christmas. My watch face is set to Metropolitan. When it switches to sleep focus, the face changes to a digital display that shows only hour and minutes. I want a display that shows seconds. How do I set it so it doesn’t change from my current face or can I change the sleep focus to use one that shows seconds?

That's the Always on Display (AOD). It will dim after a while to save battery. To turn it off it's under Power or display...
