Watermark PDF quick action is adding additional text

I have been running a fairly simple Quick Action-Automator workflow that watermarks PDF files with a.png file. I duplicated and renamed the original workflow; the only modification I made was to tweak the x offset. As a result, the text (With a Watermark) is now being added to the file name. How can this happen if there is no step included to add or rename the PDF name? See screenshot

Example

x01_a_001 (With Watermark).pdf

z02_a_001 (With Watermark).pdf

The (With Watermark) text is appended to the output PDF file basename because that is the way Apple designed the watermark action. Otherwise, it would raise a Finder error dialog about an already existing PDF filename. This would also happen if you included the Rename Finder Items: Replace Text action in your workflow and attempted to remove that suffix.

It is a good idea to change the [ any application ] to [ Finder ] since that is the only application where you can select a PDF and access the Quick Action menu. You could also select a PDF and choose Services > Quick Action name, but it still requires you to be in Finder and has less utility than the Quick Action menu.
