iPhone 11 issues with iOS 16.3.1 Apps not installing.

Apologies if this has already been asked or answered.

I have an iPhone 11 and with the most recent patch has made my phone very buggy I did a factory reset after it my back up was completed most of my apps will install once I click on them it'll reinstall the app again acting as I didn't install it to begin with. I attempted a soft reboot and a hard reboot and troubleshooted multiple ideas and suggestions from various Mac/Apple community sites with no luck insofar.

There's also the problem of certain apps repetitively crashing to home screen or makes the phone inactive and requires a hard reboot.

Thanks to anyone that can help me with this, I've been spending hours trying to resolve this issue and if there is already another thread similar to this feel free the link and lock/remove this one. You have my upmost thanks in advance!

Stay connected to the internet and continue using the iPhone. Depending on the internet speed all apps will get downloaded from the App Store automatically. Apps aren't backed up either on iTunes or iCloud, only App data along with app links to the App Store gets transferred.

Apps & Settings --> Apart from the Apps following will also not get transferred.

  1. Content from the iTunes and App Stores or PDFs downloaded directly to Apple Books
  2. Content synced from iTunes, like imported MP3s or CDs, videos, books, and photos
  3. Data already stored in iCloud, like iCloud Photos, iMessages, and text (SMS) and multimedia (MMS) messages
  4. Face ID or Touch ID settings
  5. Apple Pay information and settings
  6. Apple Mail data
  7. Apple Music

I agree with last comment, make sure battery is fully charged and Wi-Fi is connected to your iPhone, I downloaded the new IOS and chose the option downloading without Wi-Fi and to use signal. Seemed to work perfectly. Your provider may have something to do with it, I have Verizon. Also contacting Apple support would be an option to consider, you could connect your iPhone to your laptop and use bleach bit on your phone, which is an open source site that takes any cookies or viruses that could prevent your phone from downloading the new iOS. If anything else take it to the Apple Store and make an appointment. Good luck
