PhotoBooth video not working

Hi so basically my MacBook Air is updated and all but my video on my PhotoBooth doesn't work. It does not record even though my photos do. Can someone please help me out?

PhotoBooth picture frame is blank on my MacBook Pro. Since downloading Big Sur, PhotoBooth doesn't connect with camera. It opens app but no image appears within picture frame. In researching the Community about this problem, I came across someone suggesting that Quartz Composer plug-ins are the issue. Being novice level, I came back to Community for more info on solving this problem. Can anyone help?
