Hi, here's my question:
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPad Pro M1 11", both running OS 16.3.1. However, my MacBook Pro can only run macOS Monterey 12.6.3 as the latest version, as it's a mid 2015 model.
If I turn on ADE for my iPhone and iPad Pro, will that mean that I cannot create or restore backups encrypted with ADE on my MacBook Pro running macOS Monterey?

I understand your answer, but my question is specifically about how backups on my MacBook Pro would be affected by ADE which is enabled on my other two compatible devices.
Do you know or can you advise me please what will happen to backups on my MacBook Pro if I do enable ADE on my iPhone Pro Max and iPad Pro, both of which are compatible, but my MacBook Pro is not a compatible device?
Does this mean that I must have all my Apple devices compatible before I can enable and use ADE?
Backups using Time Machine Backup to an external Drive will not be affected by ADE
The Backups of iOS to the Computer will also not be affected.
They will be included in the TM Backup regime as log as the IOS Backups are contained within the User Account ( Home Folder )
