honeywell app not working on iphone 16.3.1

honeywell app (72º) not working on iphone 16.3.1 Wall thermostat working fine but app and desktop always shows indoor at 67º and Heat Setpoint at 68º. Not connecting to wall unit. Called Honeywell support - escalated my ticket. I change it on the app/desktop and it immediately reverts back to 68º. Any thoughts?

The Weather Channel app is now quickly discharging my iPhone I've used The Weather Channel app on my iPhones for years, including my current iPhone 15 running iOS 18.5. The app seems to have been updated recently, such that it continuously operates even when you close it by sweeping up on the screen. A new small icon at the top of the screen remains. The upshot of this is that yesterday in just a few hours it drastically discharged my phone. Apparently it just stays on all the time, once opened, until you go through the drill of shutting the app completely down, which is a new inconvenience. I notice it is doing the same thing on my M3 iPad, running iPadOS 18.5. Like on the iPhone, the Battery section of Settings shows much higher discharge from The Weather Channel than anything else I do. In Settings I have Locations set to While Using, and Background App Refresh turned off, and yet this continues. At this rate it looks like I will dump The Weather Channel app and just use Apple's Weather app. In the past I have found The Weather Channel a bit more accurate of the two, but see no reason to keep using it now. Any advice or other comments?

Why is Weather App (iPhone/iPad) not reporting current Weather channel data? Our phones, iPads, and watches are always reported wildly inaccurate temperatures and forecasts. The data displayed does not match that on the Weather Channel site, even though Apple states that as the source of the weather data. For example, today, it never got above zero anywhere in my zip code, much less location. All Apple weather apps reported temperatures in the teens, +17 most of the day, which is totally bogus. The forecast is also ridiculously wrong. If it were one device, I would imagine I need a restart or something. But we have 6 different devices, all reporting totally wrong weather data. Anyone know what's up with this? ----------- PS. All devices running most current OS releases - IOS, iPadOS, WatchOS. All have been restarted. This is an Apple server / platform issue, not a device issue.
