Troubleshooting MacBook Pro Power:

As for replacing the battery, that may not be necessary. Try troubleshooting it.

A. Black Mac Screen:

Go Here: If your Mac doesn't Turn On or Start Up - Apple Support

Using External Devices: Try Resetting the SMC and NVRAM, but this time, using an external keyboard. Connect an external monitor and see if you get an output.

B. Mac Power Issues:

Try a New Charger:

If it is currently charging from a charger, then use a new charger:

Hi padilljj,

Can you please describe the exact reset techniques that you've tried so far? This helps us narrow down the issue to the actual cause.

If you've tried all of the troubleshooting steps in the article you linked, and if your Mac was completing a software update just before, it's possible that the software update may have failed and somehow bricked the device firmware. In this case, you can use another Mac to revive your dead MacBook Pro: Revive or restore a Mac with Apple silicon using Apple Configurator - Apple Support (CA)

“Same! My macbook pro 13’ M1 wont turn on. Went to apple store to get them checked and they asked for $660 to repair it since i dont have an apple care. My laptop is only 1yr and 1 month old, and now they want me to give them $660 to repair it.”

Learn from this:

Go figure! Take this as a learning experience, knowing to get AppeCare+ with it. It is much, much less than paying to get these services completed.

“It’s funny how people who gets apple care doesnt get any of this issues. A brand new macbook should last atleast 3-5 years without any problem. I believe this is a monopoly :/“

Based on Personal Experience:

Oh, I had my AppleCare+-covered 2017 MBP sent in 11 times (sending in was the only option during COVID).. Being so patient of a customer, I was granted a free new Mac priced $2,500 more, for no more than the price of the coverage for it. So, AppleCare is extremely helpful, when it comes to troubleshooting.
