I have the optimum cablevision internet and DVR in my home. I downloaded the Optimum App from the app store (see icon) on my Iphone 14... using the app shows what I have on my DVR's but won't let it play on my Iphone.. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a different app that allows this? Thanks for any advice.

There seems to be two Optimum apps:

and the "Optimum TV" app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/optimum-tv/id1296704509
There are a lot of similarities in the descriptions of the above two but only the "Optimum TV" app includes wording about watching cloud DVR recordings. See the following excerpt from that apps description:
All your shows in one place. Stream Live TV or catch up on your Cloud DVR recordings from anywhere within your home. Plus, you can watch TV on the go with some of your favorite shows and networks available, anytime, anywhere there is an internet connection with the Optimum TV App.

Thanks so much for the reply.. I did try both apps and the one you mentioned (with the TV) gave the following error message when signing in with my user name and password. Which is weird.. I have all up to date devices and when I first tried using the optimum chat feature on their support website, the individual was NOT helpful... any other thoughts would be GREATLY RECEIVED.... THANKS,
and I get this note to pick the app from my provider list.. very confusing... Help?????
