Trash won't empty due to Sophos folders

Hi. I have a problem with some files in the trash that won't delete. It's an older machine running Sierra. It's a Mid 2010 Mac Pro I know it's old, but it still runs perfectly as a 2nd computer. It was set up by the IT guys where I worked and I inherited the machine as a personal computer.

Sophos is uninstalled, but there are 3 folders in the trash that won't go away, due to System Integrity Protection. I've searched the web high and low looking for answers, tried starting in Recovery Mode - which it won't do for some reason - to shut off SIP to no avail.

Any ideas how I can be rid of these annoying folders? Screenshot attached.

Thanks for any help.

Not sure what to do now. I'd recommend App Cleaner & Uninstaller, but only find older versions here...
